Next Book Club Meeting

Because of all the snow days and all the work that has to be made up, Team 7A, 7B and 8A decided to not choose a book, but to be prepared to talk about a book that they have read. Team 8B has chosen the book The Sisters Grimm as their book to read for the next meeting.

Inkheart part two

I am about half way through Inkheart. Meggie is my favorite character. What do you think about Dustfinger? What exactly is a marten anyway?

Snow Days!!

I am sorry that our snow days have caused our January meeting to be canceled. We will meet again in February.

Twilight Movie

How about that Twilight Movie? Did you get to see it? I saw it on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving with my daughter.

Our next meeting will be on Wednesday, December 10, 2008. Please remember to bring your lunch to the Media Center on that day! Be ready to discuss books and to have some fun.

Our first meeting!

Many students enjoyed The Brown Bag Book Club today! We had 36 Seventh Graders and 10 Eighth Graders, including Mr. Hart! All staff members are welcome to join us as we eat and discuss books.

Team 7A will be reading Something Upstairs by Avi.
Team 7B will be reading one of several books: Belle Prater's Boy, Stormbreaker or A Long Way From Chicago.
Team 8A will be reading Half Moon Investigations.
Team 8B will be reading Sword For The Rightful King.
